About us
Since starting out in the 60's, Knowle Musical Society has successfully produced number of musicals. These range from both traditional and premier productions such as Titanic, Beauty and the Beast, Tale of Two Cities, The Sound of Music and The Addams Family.
One of our successful shows 'A Tale of Two Cities' had very unexpected visit from Jill Santoriello, the writer and composer of the Broadway show and also a visit from the great great, great granddaughter of Charles Dickens!
It recent years we have performed traditional musicals such as CHESS, My Fair lady, we were first society in Solihull to perform Top Hat and most recently performed Me and My Girl.
All our new members note how welcome they are made to feel from the very first rehearsal.
Our rehearsal nights are Monday and Wednesday, with Mondays starting out as Principal rehearsals and Wednesdays for company rehearsals.
